| Host - Incubus models do not begin the game in play. When a friendly living non-Incubus, non-warlock, small-based Faction warrior model is destroyed by an enemy attack, collateral damage, or a continuous effect, you can replace it with an Incubus model that has not been put into play.

Rules Clarification : Host (Edit)
- An Incubus can activate the same it is put into play.
- If someone dies to a free strike, and you replace it with an Incubus, that Incubus will be inside the attacker's melee range. So the Incubus will also take a free strike if it tries to move away.
- The destroyed model still produces soul and corpse tokens as normal.
- There must be a legal place for you to place the Incubus. If someone dies while overlapping another model or an obstacle (for instance model [A] died to a free strike from model [B] while advancing through Incorporeal model [C]), then you don't get to replace it. (Infernal Ruling)
