Energy Leak - When a warjack is hit by this weapon, it suffers a cumulative -1 penalty to its focus limit for one round. Models that cannot suffer Disruption are immune to Energy Leak. Edit description

Rules Clarification : Energy Leak      (Edit)

  • This attack can still damage warjacks that don't suffer Disruption ... it just won't apply the -1 focus penalty.
  • If you hit a warjack that currently has full focus on it, that warjack will immediately drop a focus point because it is not allowed to exceed its new lower limit. (Infernal Ruling)
  • You can hit a warjack with Energy Leak 3 times, lowering its focus cap to 0. When the warjack powers up, it won't be able to gain more than 0 focus. Note, this doesn't work against certain warjacks having a focus cap of 4. Those warjacks need to be hit 4 times to prevent them from powering up. (Locked Thread)
