• League Model - This model can only be included in armies participating in the Crossroads of Courage league.
• Mercenary - This model will work for Convergence, Cryx, Cygnar, Khador, Protectorate, and Retribution.
• Minion - This model will work for Circle, Legion, Skorne, and Trollbloods.

Abilities

• Stealth
• Dig In (★ Action) - This model gains cover, does not suffer blast damage, and does not block LOS. The model remains dug in until it moves, is placed, or is engaged. It can begin the game dug in.
• Courage only
  • Run & Gun - At the end of its activation, if this model destroyed one or more enemy models with a ranged attacks during that activation, it can make a full advance.
  • Sniper - Instead of making a damage roll to resolve a ranged attack, this model can inflict 1 point of damage. A model disabled by a ranged attack made by this model cannot make a Tough roll.
• Coward only
  • Duck For Cover - The first time Holden is hit by an attack each turn, he suffers no damage from the attack and becomes knocked down.
  • Feign Death - This model cannot be targeted by ranged or magic attacks while knocked down.

Weapons

• Hunting Rifle (Courage) - 14" range, POW 10 ranged attack
  • Snap Fire - When this model destroys one or more enemy models with a ranged attack with this weapon during its Combat Action, immediately after that attack is resolved this model can make one basic ranged attack with this weapon. Attacks gained from Snap Fire cannot generate additional attacks from Snap Fire.
• Hunting Rifle (Coward) - 14" range, POW 10 ranged attack
  • Grievous Wounds - A model hit by this weapon loses Tough and cannot have damage removed from it for one round.
• Trench Knife (Both versions) - 0.5" reach, POW 3, P+S 7 melee attack

Thoughts on Private Holden

Holden was the star character in the multi-season narrative league Crossroads of Courage. It was set at the time when Grymkin were released (both in real life and in the fluff) and focussed on how Holden wavered between Coward and Courage. First off, players would answer an online survey which would tell them which version of Holden to use, then they would play games, then they would report back to PP, and that would affect the next season's storyline and the rules for next season's Holden.

Eventually, the fate of Holden became established and he joined the Grymkin as a Hollow Man.
