Warcaster Equivalent - Vinter takes the place of one warcaster in the army list, but is not a warcaster. He has no spells, feat, and cannot have a warcaster attachment.
Feat
Abilities
- Ancient Mail of the Grim King - Remove d3+3 damage points from Vinter at the start of each of his activations
- Aura of Empowerment - When a friendly Faction warjack begins its activation in Vinter's command range, that warjack gains 1 focus point.
- Desperate Pace [ Cygnar ] (★ Action) - RNG CMD. Target friendly Cygnar unit. If the unit is in range, Cygnar models in the unit gain +2" movement during their Normal Movement this turn.
- Power of the Grim King - If there are fewer than 3 power tokens on Vinter during your Maintenance Phase, place up to 3 power tokens on it. Vinter can have up to 3 tokens. During his Combat Action, he can spend them to buy/boost attacks.
- Sacrificial Pawn [ Cygnar ] - When this model is directly hit by an enemy ranged attack, you can have one friendly, non-incorporeal Cygnar model within 3" of it directly hit instead. That model is automatically hit and suffers all damage and effects. The Sacrificial Pawn special rule can only trigger once per attack roll.
- The Greatest Duelist - Vinter gains +2 DEF vs melee attack rolls. Each time Vinter would make an attack during his Combat Action, he can make a (★) Attack instead. After he resolves a (★) Attack, he can advance up to 2".
- Unstoppable - This model cannot be pushed, become knocked down, become stationary, be moved by a slam, and never suffers Blind or Shadow Bind.

- Thresher (★ Attack) - This model makes one melee attack with this weapon against each model in its LOS that is in this weapon's melee range. Thresher attacks are simultaneous.
- Smite - A model directly hit by this attack can be slammed d6" directly away from this model. If the model hit has a larger base than the attacking model, it is moved only half the distance rolled. The POW of collateral damage is equal to the STR of this model.
